2026 Crosslake Days - Chili Cook-Off

Description
Experience one of Crosslake's favorite fall traditions! For more than 36 years, Crosslake Days has welcomed residents and visitors alike for a weekend filled with family-friendly fun, activities, contests, live entertainment, shopping, great food, and unforgettable community spirit.
A festival favorite is Saturday's Crosslake Chili Cook-Off, where local businesses open their doors to serve their best homemade chili recipes while competing for the coveted Golden Ladles and a full year of bragging rights.
We're bringing in self-proclaimed culinary chili lovers to determine the Judges Choice, and beginning at noon, all chili lovers can travel throughout Crosslake, sampling a variety of delicious recipes until they're gone, then cast their vote for the coveted People's Choice Award. Chosen by hundreds of tasters, the People's Choice title is often the toughest prize to earn, making the friendly competition one of the most anticipated and flavorful traditions of Crosslake Days.
Visit and taste free samples at participating Chamber member businesses (map coming soon), and download the Crosslake App to your mobile device and vote for your favorite by 3 p.m., winners will be announced and trophies presented shortly after.

2nd Place - Holiday Station Store Crosslake - The Smoked Cinco
3rd Place - MN Roots - Chili Minnesota
