WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
This public forum will only feature DFL-endorsed candidate Denise Slipy. Because of her party's endorsement, Slipy did not take part in the first primary forum on April 8.
Republican candidate Keri Heintzeman, who won the primary election over seven other candidates, declined to participate in a debate. Heintzeman said she plans to prioritize face-to-face conversations with voters through door-knocking efforts before the election.
The special election for Minnesota Senate District 6 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29. The district includes parts of Cass, Crow Wing, and Itasca Counties.
