2023 WinterFest - Search for the Lost Medallion

THE MEDALLION HAS FINALLY BEEN FOUND - Congratulations Tom Kirzeder of Merrifield.  The medallion was frozen inside a coffee cup, hidden at the base of the Stop Ahead snowmobile trail sign in front to the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. Thank you to all the good sports who stuck with it to a 6th clue!  

We'll do it all again March 16-18 to find the Lost Pot Of Gold during the St. Patrick's Day Parade & Celebration!

Pull on the snow gear, round up the family and get outside to search for the 2023 Lost WinterFest Medallion! Somewhere within the City limits of Crosslake lays, hangs, dangles, or sits the medallion.  One of three clues will be released daily at 9 a.m. to guide you to its location. 

This year's contest is proving more challenging for even the most clever of decipherers. So we're extending the fun!  A fourth clue will be released Sunday morning at 9 a.m. 

Clue #1

Here we are in year twenty-one,

Get outdoors and have some fun.

With coffee, pizza, food and drink specials galore

Purchase a wrist band and save even more!

 Clue #2

With so much to do at every spot

You will find yourself parking a lot.

Snowmobile, skating, contests and games

Gather some friends and use all your brains.

Clue #3

Check the App for activities night and day

A wondering mind might lose their way.

Get back on track and stop to pray

Be quick about it to avoid the fray.

Clue #4

Here we are at clue #4

Be prepared to dig before you walk out the door

Look for your treasure as you kneel by the sign

Look ahead and follow the path, you will do just fine.

It’s a first for Clue #5, if we have to, we’ll keep going to #37!

Go get the medallion, it will feel like heaven.

Run into the ditch, and you could be rich

Your cup will runneth over

Setting you up for the St. Patrick’s Day clover!

Hop on your sled to Stop Ahead

Now that you’re there, say another prayer

Dig to the ground, the medallion can be found

With cup in hand, the prize will be grand!
