About

The L.A.K.E. Trails Initiative in Crosslake, Minnesota, aims to create a safe network of bike and walking trails interconnected with neighborhoods, parks, and schools. The long-term goal of this project is to connect a Regional Trail from the City Crosslake to the Paul Bunyan Trail along County Road 16 through partnerships of the area communities such as Ideal Township, Jenkins Township, and the City of Jenkins within Crow Wing County. This long-term vision will be a regional benefit that would connect The Gull Lake Trail through the Paul Bunyan Trail along with future trail developments in the cities of Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point and Nisswa.
