If so, then we would like to talk to You! The position is full-time including some Saturday’s and Sunday’s. With the right candidate the salary is negotiable with an opportunity for commission. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Selling furniture and mattresses to guests navigating our 30,000 square foot building
- Unpacking furniture/lamps, etc. including light assembly in between customers
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Keep the sales floor neat and organized, restocking products as needed
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications - Minimum of a High school diploma
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling, POS systems, and operating a cash register
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
