Piano, Organ, and Violin Recital

Please join us for as much or as little as your schedule allows as we celebrate All Saints Day. At 3:30 p.m. we will gather for a recital and hymn sing including some of best hymns from throughout the church year. The recital and hymn will be followed by dinner at 4:45 p.m. and the Divine Service (worship) at 6:00 p.m. The Divine Service includes the commemoration of the faithful departed as we give thanks to God for those Christians who have gone before us. It is a particularly comforting service for those who are still grieving the loss of Christian family and friends. 'But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.' ( 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)
