Parts Counter Sales Representative

Job Summary:

Responsible for overall parts sales, inventory, and relationship management at the dealership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct Freightliner & Western Star OEM or Various Vendor’s Aftermarket parts for       heavy and medium duty trucks, trailers, buses, and RVs
• Responsible for filling service department’s parts requests for repair orders.
• Responsible for coordinating inventory in warehouse.
• Help maintain cleanliness and order in work area of the parts area.
• Responsible for continuously training on new parts vendors and parts lines.
• Responsible for answering phones, using company parts look-up programs, placing orders, etc.
• Responsible for tracking customer information in company customer database.
• Make suggestions and share ideas with the parts manager to move the company forward and grow the department.
• Responsible for other duties as required or assigned.

Must have High School Diploma or GED. Industry experience and/or formal training is requested. Must be willing to work as a team player, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.  Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment; with ability to read, comprehend instructions, take direction and complete tasks as assigned.
